Leslie Armeniox '00,PhD (CED alum), has accepted the position of Director of Counseling Services, with the rank of Assistant Professor, at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.

Belinda Hardin (SES) is the PI on Developing a Tool for Improving the Quality of Early Childhood Care and Education Programs Internationally, a new grant funded by the Smith Richardson Foundation.

Marci Rock (SES) gave the 2011 Robert D. Martin Lecture at the University of Central Florida. She also led a roundtable discussion with UCF College of Education faculty, staff, doctoral students, and pre-service interns.

Join University Libraries staff Carolyn Shankle and Hermann Trojanowski for a 30-minute walking ghost tour TODAY. On the tour you will learn about the ghosts that haunt Mary Foust Residence Hall, Spencer Residence Hall, Alumni House, and Aycock Auditorium.
Tour Times: 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Meeting Place: College Avenue in front of Mary Foust Residence Hall
Duration of Tour: 30 minutes

Undergraduate Student Excellence is currently seeking instructors who have earned a minimum of 18 graduate hours to fulfill the teaching responsibilities of SAS 100 and/or SAS 200. The stipend for each section of SAS 100 is $980.00, and the stipend for each section of SAS 200 is $800.00. If you are interested in teaching either course, please submit your resume or curriculum vitae along with two professional references to Ms. Jennie Gouker at jegouker@uncg.edu no later than Friday, November 4. Official transcripts will be required of those selected to teach.
