UNCG's Education Career Day 2011 is sponsored by the Career Services Center and the School of Education. Approximately 50 school systems from North Carolina and several other states will attend this event. They will be seeking Pre K-12 teachers for all subjects and grade levels, as well as administrators, counselors, social workers, nurses, media specialists, speech pathologists and dietitians.
Students from surrounding universities and interested professionals from the Triad will be invited as well. For additional details about the event, please visit the UNCG Career Services Center website at www.uncg.edu/csc.
Parking: You may park at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex by entering the lot from Ellington Street. Zone G, on the right side of the lot, is reserved for the Education Career Day. Carolina American Tour buses will be shuttling students to and from UNCG; please present your student ID when boarding the shuttle bus. You will also need your student ID to check-in at the event! The last bus will leave when the last employer leaves the event (approximately 4:15pm)
Preparation: Have your 15 minute resume critique at the Career Services Center M-F between 12-4PM; March 8, 9, & 10, 2011 between 3-5 will be 15 minute resume critiques for education majors. Check our list of attending school systems prior to March 14th to select the ones that you want to meet. Be sure to research each school systems website before the event. Bring copies of your resume to give to a representative from each of those systems. PROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW ATTIRE REQUIRED. For tips on professional attire go to click here.
