The UNCG Teaching Fellows Program and the UNCG International Programs Center offer a study abroad option for students.Strongly suggested for foreign language majors and recommended for all other Fellows, the costs are essentially the same as attending UNCG for the same length of time. Financial travel support is available to qualified Teaching Fellows. During an age of interlinked communication, such a trip offers stimulating growth and insight. This is an exchange program where UNCG students are directly enrolled in an institution overseas, take courses and sit for examinations with regularly enrolled students. In return, an international student takes his or her place here at UNCG. Teaching Fellows receive academic credit; with prior planning, credit earned abroad can be applied toward a degree at UNCG. Fellows do not have to speak a foreign language to participate. Programs include both English speaking and non-English speaking opportunities.
Programs are available in the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, The Dominican Republic, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, The Ivory Coast, Italy, Kenya, Korea, Malta, Mexico, The Netherlands, The Philippines, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Togo, The United Kingdom, Uruguay, Zambia.
