Each UNCG Teaching Fellows class meets as a group. Fellows automatically have thirty-five to sixty new acquaintances with whom to share the Teaching Fellows experience.

The freshmen seminar classes are designed to assist first-year Teaching Fellows into the academic and social systems of higher education and provide an introduction to the field of public school education. Some of the activities/topics included are:
