The North Carolina Teaching Fellows program provides scholarships to outstanding high school seniors from North Carolina who agree to teach four years in one of North Carolina's public schools or government schools, following graduation from college.

The Praxis Exam is an academic skills assessment in reading, writing and mathematics. North Carolina uses these assessments as part of their teaching licensing certification process.
