Children's Festival and Health Celebration

Attention Teacher Cadet classes and FTA/FEA organizations interested in community service!

Please join the NC Teaching Fellows, the Curry Education Society and other UNCG students as they celebrate the gift of children. VOLUNTEER to participate with your Teacher Cadet class, FTA, or other school organizations. Showcase your talent as future teachers. Set up a booth with an educational activity, craft, or game. Be prepared to welcome hundreds of children and their families to this kick-off event for UNCG FallFest.

A former teacher cadet says, “I really didn’t think I was going to have such a great time. I [thought I] would just go get service hours - but I had the best time ever. It was so much fun jumping rope and dancing with those little children. I loved being on the campus. Everyone was so nice. I really had a great time.”
-C. Moser, Teacher Cadet

Registration: If your group would like to participate in this service project, we invite group sponsors to register. Go to the Center for Educational Studies and Development (CESD) website for more information and to register: http://www.uncg.edu/soe/cesd/cfhc/index.html
