Senior Day: Be the DifferenceSenior Day Logo

This day is for high school seniors interested in learning about teaching as a profession and transitioning to college. Visiting students will meet during lunch with teacher education students, hear a motivational message by Jessica Garner (the NC Teacher of the Year), attend special interest sessions, and enjoy a closing session with our Master Teacher in Residence. The day will conclude with a campus tour hosted by UNCG Spartan Guides.

The UNCG School of Education would like to thank each and every student that attended our Fall 2009 Senior Day activites. We hope you received valuable information and are inspired to not only Make a Difference but to BE The Difference by becoming a teacher.

Students who have participated in previous years shared these comments:

"It was great. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot about college life. I can’t wait to go to college! Thank you for everything."

"I really liked spending time with my student host. She helped me with questions and shared some valuable information about teaching and college life. I had a really great time touring the campus, which is really pretty!"

"It was definitely a great experience. I believe every senior should experience a day of college life before they start. I enjoyed exploring the campus and feeling the atmosphere."
