Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program
Teachers may get up to $5000 loan forgiveness under this program sponsored by the Federal government. Certain mathematics, science and special education teachers may get up to $17,500 in loan forgiveness. Go to the Federal Student Aid website for more information on this program.

  This is a good place to start exploring your financial aid options.
• School of Education Financial Aid
  Here is where you can find Graduate Assistantship applications and School of Education Scholarship applications.
• FinAid! Financial Aid Information Page,
  This site offers many tools such as financial aid calculators, a free scholarship search, and information on other types of aid available to students.
• College Connection
  College Connection lists various scholarships for every type of major.
• College Foundation of North Carolina
  CFNC's scholarship wizard offers the ability for North Carolina residents to apply for scholarships and grants online, as well as providing additional resources for students who are seeking financial aid.
• North Carolina Teaching Fellows
• Department of Public Instruction/Recruitment and Retention
  This site includes information about the following loans: Prospective Teacher Scholarship, Physical Education-Coaching Scholarship, and the NC Association for Educational Communications and Technology (NCaect) Scholarships, among others.
