Joined UNCG's campus in 2007 as an Assistant Director where I served as the retention coordinator for the university's academic recovery and support programs in the former Student Academic Services office. Shortly thereafter, I became an Associate Director for the office while serving as a lecturer of UNCG freshmen transition and academic probation courses. Previous work includes Academic Advisor II at Auburn University, Financial Aid Counselor at Tuskegee University, and lecturer of introductory undergraduate courses. Originally from New York, I have 3 wonderful children and enjoy road trips, baking desserts, shopping, and the occasional thrill rides.

I began my career in education when I returned to Greensboro (my hometown) in the late 1990s. First, I worked at Pilot Elementary and then in Financial Aid at Randolph Community College. In 2001, I became an advisor at UNCG and moved to my current advisor position in the School of Education in 2005. I am also the faculty coordinator for the freshmen Teaching Fellows here at UNCG.
I am married, have two sons, a daughter-in-law, & one fabulous grandson! I love working with UNCG students! Go Spartans!!!!!!

BS - Mathematics with 6-12 licensure, University of Wisconsin at Parkside, MS - Educational Research Methodology, University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Lived in Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois before moving to North Carolina in 2000. Taught for 13 years and joined the School of Education at UNCG in 2005 as a licensure advisor. Enjoys life which includes three children, one grandchild (so far), cooking, staying active and gardening!

I'm originally from Hendersonville, NC and graduated from UNCG with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2002. I attended NC State for graduate school and obtained an MEd. in Counselor Education in 2006. My previous position was with Johnston Community College in Smithfield, NC. where I served as Counselor/Testing Coordinator. In my spare time, I enjoy the arts such as music and dance and spending time with family and close friends.

I worked as a graduate assistant in UNCG's School of Education Student Advising Center for almost 4 years while I worked on my master degrees in College Counseling and Elementary Education. In August of 2011, I joined the staff of the School of Education as an Assistant Director of Student Services. I love working with students who are a part
of UNCG's education programs as I believe they are some of the best and brightest students attending college today!

I have lived in or near Winston-Salem since 1970. I enjoy being with my family, being "Nana" to my grandchildren, working at UNCG, playing bridge, cooking, shopping. Each new day is a gift!!!!

I have been with UNCG since November 2004 and handle Undergraduate Admission into teacher education, Student Teaching and Licensure for the School of Education. I grew up in a military family and have lived in Maine, Idaho, England, New Mexico and Northern Virginia. I moved to North Carolina to attend High Point University where I received a degree in Elementary Education. I am married and live in Greensboro.

I have been with UNCG since 1999 as a Administrative Assistant, and joined the Staff of the School of Education in January of 2006 in the Student Advising Center, Teaching Fellows office. We moved to North Carolina in 1998 from Conway South Carolina where I worked as a paralegal for the Horry County District Attorney's Office. I am married, live in Kernersville with our three dogs and cats, enjoy gardening and reading.

B.A. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Teaching Fellow, and an M.S. in Counseling from the North Carolina State University, with credentials as a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations program at UNCG. Prior to becoming the Director of Teaching Fellows, Jennifer served as Assistant Director for Secondary Education Advising at UNCG. I live in Hillsborough with my husband Chris and enjoys spending time with loved ones, participating in athletic events, and cheering her undergraduate alma mater on to victory.

A New Jersery native, I moved to North Carolina to attend college and graduated from UNCG in 2005 with a Batchlor of Arts in Communication Studies. I was the Marketing Coordinator for Earth Fare before coming onboard with UNCG in 2010. I live in Greensboro with my wonderful husband Mikal and our dog and cat, and enjoy going to the park, reading, crocheting, and hanging out with friends and family.
