Molding Top-Notch Professionals

"UNCG offers a great chance to combine student-focused education with real-world experience. I love attending UNCG because students have a voice. I like working with my professors because they interact with students to provide course choices and material best suited to the student's needs and interests."

A Passion for Learning

"A love for learning is the number one quality for becoming a teacher. I chose to study Latin, Greek, and Archaeology because I am passionate about the content and love teaching it. I look forward to transferring my love of these areas to the high school students I will teach."

Inspired to Teach

"Initially it was my high school Latin teacher, Kristy Spencer, who inspired me to become a teacher. Also, I give a great deal of credit to my Classical Studies professors. Although challenging, their teaching has inspired me to thoroughly know the content, which I think is the hardest part of preparing to teach."
