Information for Students Planning to Major in Elementary Education

The Undergraduate Bulletin provides information on the core requirements of a major in Elementary Education with K-6 Teacher Licensure.

Concentrations Offered to Elementary Education Majors

The following 18-hour second academic concentrations have been approved: Anthropology, Art (Art History or Studio Art), Classical Studies (Latin or Greek), Communication Studies, English, Geography, German, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics and Astronomy, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, and Sociology. The following 24-hour second academic concentrations have been approved: French, Spanish.
