Freshmen Retreat

UNCG offers teacher preparation programs in almost all licensure areas. Each major has unique qualities, making UNCG the natural home of students wishing to teach in North Carolina's public schools. Requirements for teacher licensure are specified in the program descriptions under each respective department in the undergraduate catalog. Secondary Subject Area Licensure (Grades 9-12)

Honors

Teaching Fellows are especially invited to participate in the Lloyd International Honors College. If you are highly motivated and academically gifted, the Honors Program can enrich your college experience. Within a supportive learning community, you may elect innovative Honors course work and enjoy close interaction with faculty and fellow students. Honors courses are open to qualified UNCG students in any major.
