UWDG Events

Do you want to increase your Web development skills? Do you want to interact with other UNCG web developers?

Workshops & Open Labs

Workshops
An hour long training opportunity. Typically 1-2pm on the First Friday of the month, but occassionaly occurs on a different date due to scheduling conflicts. While not technically a "brown bag" - participants are welcome to eat their lunch, as long as they don't chew to loudly!
Open Labs
Monthly opportunity for you to get individual assistance on your website from a member of the Web3 Project Team or other university developers. This event typically occurs 11-12 on the third Monday of the month, but may be moved due to scheduling conflicts.

When? Where? Check out the TLC Event Calendar for details. Registration not required, but helpful to guage interest and provide sufficent materials.

WOC Web3 Certification

This program is a series of classes (online and hands-on) designed to equip university staff to do web work that meets and exceeds the University's Web Standards and Policies.

NOTE: While all UNCG Web developers are encouraged to participate, the WOC Web3 Certification is above and beyond the activities of UWDG. You need not be involved in the certification program in order to participate in UWDG activities (use of Blackboard, Workshops and Roundtables).

Learn more about the WOC Web3 Certification program, and register for Certification Courses.
