STARS Pair Programming and Mentoring Workshop
A Resounding Success!
The recent workshop held in Tampa, on January 6, proved to be a resounding success. The two day workshop focused on Pair Programming and Identity-based mentoring.
Dr. Laurie Williams, of North Carolina State University, taught participants how to implement pair programming in their classes.
Dr. Nate Thomas, of USF Lakeland, trained attendees how to implement an identity-based mentoring for their departments and organizations. The workshop was well attended with 13 participants offering very positive feedback on the program’s materials and topics covered. As always, participants found Dr. Thomas’ energetic approach to teaching inspirational and effective in integrating the workshop with the STARS values and programs.
