- While there were 17,000 Computer Science majors in America in 2004, there were 100,000 Computer Science majors in India.
- Students enrolling and graduating with Computing and IT degrees have decreased by 60% since 2000.
- Women and minorities are significantly underrepresented in Computing.
- There are few role models for young people interested in Computing and IT.
- There is little support for students who choose to pursue Computing and IT degrees.
