Welcome to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta! Through this website, we strive to provide information regarding the organization's history, our chapter's history, and our future goals. Potential and current members may find our requirements, upcoming events, and - hopefully - anything else they may need to know!
The national mission statement: "The Purpose of Alpha Lambda Delta is to encourage superior academic achievement among students in their first year in institutions of higher education, to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society."
Our chapter's mission statement: “The Purpose of Alpha Lambda Delta is to encourage superior academic attainment among students during their first year in institutions of higher education, to promote community service, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society.”
Our Chapter Goals:
Have better communication within our organization
Improve upon our annual events (CANstruction)
Make Alpha Lambda Delta a more prominent organization on campus
Create and maintain a community of student fellowship
Increase the percentage of acceptance of Alpha Lambda Delta bids
More involvement within our organization– staying involved after induction
Creating a more diverse set of community service events
