Thanks to everyone that participated in CANstruction. Inductions are coming up so if you'd like to earn a few points, volunteering to participate would be a good idea. You can sign up today at the meeting at 2:30 pm in the Alexander Room of the EUC. Do you want to hold a position in ALD? We will be conducting elections at our May meeting.

The points spreadsheet has been uploaded to blackboard. You can find it in the section "course documents". Please email Amethyst(aedavis3@uncg.edu) if you have any questions or concerns.
Also If you are graduating in May 2010 or December 2010 please email Amethyst as soon as possible. In your email, include your full name and when you are graduating. She needs this information to check your eligibility for cords. Remember, in order to get a cord you must have 90 points at the time of your graduation. If you are graduating early you would only need 75 points so please indicate whether are not you are graduating early.

The Haiti Relief Kit Project went great. We were able to donate 64 kits. Thanks to everyone who helped out! Do you have old jeans? Donate them to the:
The Denim Project
**Donate your old jeans, which will be converted into insulation and used in Habitat for Humanity houses along the gulf coast that was effected by the hurricanes. There is a link below, which explains more about the project.

If you turn in 3 pairs of jeans, you will receive 7 points.
You can turn in up to 6 pairs of jeans for a maximum of 14 points!

Operation Christmas Child went very well. Thanks to everyone that contributed. The children that receive the boxes will be very happy. A total of 63 boxes were collected. Again thanks to all who contributed and also thanks to those who helped with Branches of Love. If you didn't get to help, dont' worry. There will be plenty of more opportunities to get involved so just check out the "events" page regularly. Also there has been a twitter page made for us, so follow it by clicking the "t" on the right side of the page and stay updated!
