Student Union. Baptist Student Union is three things in one - a Christian
community of students, a program for students, and an organization involving
students.
College is a time when
you will face many new ideas, new opportunities, and new directions. As
a student you will face many challenges and claims on your life. Sometimes
it will be tough sorting out what you should and will do. It may be difficult
deciding which way to go.
BSU is a national collegiate
movement designed to help you tie the many facets of your life social,
intellectual, psychological, religious together, to make them a coherent
whole, to thread a meaning through all the facts and questions, to give
you direction.
BSU can be a very important
balancing factor in your life. The students (who are the BSU) are the support
columns when the going gets rough. They are your friends with whom you
play, laugh, pray and even cry. The programs and activities are challenging
and informative, but most of all the BSU offers you an opportunity to grow
as a person and Christian while learning to be a leader and a servant.
Currently in Greensboro
we have a BSU at UNCG, but we provide outreach to students on other campuses.
We also participate in many statewide and national BSU events.
We need you, and we
think you need us. Become a part of our BSU "family" who rejoices in the
God who gives us Life and who helps us learn to share that Life with others.
