Trips
ISA in is pleased to offer trips within North Carolina as well as other states along the East Coast. This is a good opportunity for students to visit some of the most famous U.S. cities, such as Washington D.C. and New York City, and visit landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and the Lincoln Memorial. Other trip opportunities might include a weekend at the beach, day trips to Raleigh or Charlotte, a visit to Blowing Rock, a tour of Old Salem and an evening trip to the Three College Observatory.

Friday Fest
International Students present about their countries and cultures at the International House. Friday Fests occur on most Fridays during fall and spring semesters and presentations include music, dance, food, and plenty of humor.

International Education Week
International Education Week (IEW), a collaborative initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, is celebrated on college campuses across the country every November. IEW is dedicated to promoting the i international education, including the importance of international students and scholars on our campus, study and service abroad, and awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries. UNCG, the IPC and the ISA sponsor many activities for IEW, including a Study Abroad Photo Contest, workshops for faculty and staff and a Friday Fest finale and reception. ISA will sponsor a booth in the EUC to give away country buttons, inform the community about ISA's programs and activities, and sell t-shirts and Semi-Formal tickets. Come out and support the ISA.

International Festival
The International Festival is an annual celebration of the diverse world in which we live and of the beauty that human cultures have to offer. I-Fest promotes cultural awareness, appreciation and understanding through the mediums of music, food, crafts, demonstrations and entertainment from all corners of the globe. International Festival is in April.

ISA Semi-Formal
ISA Semi-Formal is a great opportunity for you to get together with friends for dancing and fun at a Greensboro downtown club. Fall Semi-Formal is at the end of December and Spring Semi-Formal is at the end of April/beginning of May.
Get your tickets at during IEW, at designated Friday Fests and the International Festival.
