Association
The purpose of the Legal Professions Association is to promote academic ideals for students wishing to pursue careers in law related professions throughout the semester. The association invites guest speakers such as judges, lawyers, child protective services agents, and other law enforcement officials, to talk about their careers. It also provides valuable resources to those seeking assistance in taking the LSAT or admission to law school.
Typically, invited speakers will hand out business cards or provide some contact information. This information can be used to network with individuals, especially those in the field that students are pursuing. LPA is also a way for students to meet other like-minded individuals in the UNCG community.
