FOR
NEARLY ONE HUNDRED YEARS, PI KAPPA PHI HAS BEEN BUILDING BETTER MEN ON
college campuses across the country. From our humble roots at the College
of Charleston in South Carolina to over 190 campuses today, Pi Kappa Phi
stands for a commitment to fundamental values. We are a first class
fraternity who firmly believes in the tenets of Character, Leadership,
Academics, Sportsmanship, and Service. These principles are not only
valued but instilled through leading-edge educational, service, and
leadership opportunities. We are America's Leading Fraternity.
AS
AMERICA'S LEADING FRATERNITY, PI KAPPA PHI OFFERS LEADING-EDGE experiences
and opportunities that will get you ahead of your college career and in
your life. You can associate with men of proven character. Attend
corporate-level leadership training. Achieve higher grades by utilizing
your Academic Coach. Be a part of a team. Ride a bike across the United
States or swing a hammer on behalf of people with disabilities. Be a man
of character, leadership, academics, sportsmanship, and service. Be a man
of CLASS.

Character
Our goal is to create a fraternity where its members
each possess a high level of respect and integrity. The
foundation of our existence is to foster a strong sense of
pride through practicing and upholding standards of character.
Commitment to this belief is evident in our membership
policies.
Being
a member of a fraternity is a once in a lifetime opportunity
experienced to the fullest by very few college students.
The
qualities we are seeking in our members will enable us to
achieve all our goals as a Pi Kappa Phi chapter. We are looking
for men who exhibit the following:
- Ambition
- Determination
- Quest
for academic success
- Desire
for a challenge
- Balanced
lifestyle
- Friendly
personality
- Sound
character
- Honor
and responsibility
- Conduct
of a gentleman
If
you believe these are the qualities which you posses, then
you would greatly enjoy and benefit from membership in Pi
Kappa Phi Fraternity.

Leadership
Each
member of PKF is highly encouraged
to assume leadership roles in all areas of campus life. The
opportunities to meet others, develop personal skills, and
solve problems, are only a few of the benefits that we realize
are obtained through leadership activities
Being
involved in a leadership role allows each Pi Kapp to live
a common experience. Members of a fraternity where leadership
is promoted will enjoy the chance to share in both victories
and frustrations.
Athletics
Pi
Kappa Phi realizes that a balanced college experience includes
exercising both the body and the mind. We are all interested
in leading full and enjoyable lives, and athletic involvement
is an essential component of this. the spirit of friendly
competition in the athletic environment helps produce the
qualities of teamwork, sportsmanship, and selfless contribution.
These are skills in becoming a better student, leader, and
fraternity man.
Scholarship
The
purpose of higher learning is why we are all here, and therefore
we place academics as the first priority in our college lifestyles.
PKF provides and academic coach
for you and offers scholarships to deserving individuals.
Fraternities
were originally founded over 200 years ago as groups of men
who were collectively seeking the rewards of academic achievement.
Our desire is to return to these original objectives and succeed
in the classroom, library, and every other scholastic venue.
Service
Pi
Kapps around the Nation have been contributing to a common
philanthropy since 1977. Push America is the premier service
project for college students, and is one more example of how
PKF is dedicated to building better
men. The focus of Push America is to aid in the awareness
of people with disabilities through education, service projects,
and fund-raising. We feel there is no better way to improve
our own lives than to improve the lives of people with special
challenges.

Rush,
also known as Recruitment, occurs at the beginning of the Fall
and Spring semesters. Rush grants all students the ability
to see what Greek Life has to offer and choose a Fraternity
that best suits them. Pi Kappa Phi encourages all students
to look into the many different Greek organizations, as all
of them have different attributes, beliefs, and personalities.
