Aaron Allston writes for a living but manages to convince his family that he has a real job. Aaron is the author of six Star Wars novels in the X-Wing and New Jedi Order series and three more to come in the Legacy of the Force series, as well as numerous other novels and role-playing game supplements. 

Aaron recently scripted a low-budget horror movie, Deadbacks, which, as of July 2005, he is directing in central Texas. Deadbacks, described as “Romeo and Juliet” meets Night of the Living Dead and “the world’s first zombie chick flick,” tells the tender story of a married artist who falls in love with a dead woman. (Go figure.)
