Karl Zoltan Brust is the author of several books, including Cowboy
Feng's Space Bar and Grille, the Vlad Taltos series (Jhereg,
Yendi, Teckla, Taltos,
Phoenix
, Athyra,
Orca, Dragon, Issola) and Freedom and
Necessity (with Emma Bull). He most recently concluded the
Viscount of Adrilankha trilogy. He also has done some short
fiction in the Liavek series, edited by Will Shetterly
and Emma Bull. He is an enthusiastic amateur drummer,
guitarist, and banjo player, and a songwriter to boot. He has
one solo album, "A Rose for Iconoclastes", and has
also made appearances in music by Cats Laughing and the Flash
Girls.
His next book, Dzur,
will be published in August 2006. For
