Stellarcon 30 Gaming Schedule (Continuously Under Construction)

Most games of any kind are welcome, however, space is limited.  Games recommended are Role Playing Games, Board Games, non-collectible Card Games, some Miniature games and War Games.  Because of the space we are allocated, our space for miniature games is VERY limited. Collectible Card Game tournaments traditionally do not do well at Stellarcon, but you can contact the Gaming Coordinator (see below) and discuss the possibility.

To sign up to run Non-RPGA games, please fill out our online GM Request Form for Non-RPGA Games.

RPGA Registration Instructions (RPGA Players ONLY):

If you want to pre-register for RPGA games on the Warhorn site, you must be pre-registered for the con first through the Acteva system. However, there is no automatic or direct connection between the Acteva system and the Warhorn system, unfortunately, as they are operated by different organizations. So, you must contact the RPGA coordinator, Wesley Oakes after you have registered for the con to get your Warhorn account activated.

We are sorry for the complications. It is just the nature of the system.

Running Games: The Rule of 3

GMs that run 3 or more sessions get in free. If you run less, you get a discount.

General Information

Important Note:  The primary focus of this convention is to: Have Fun, Try new things, Learn, Share, Grow and Play.

  1. GMs can pick their event time slot:

    1. When selecting a time slot, please list your 1st and 2nd choice. There may not be space for your event in your first choice and so it may have to be moved.  You will be contacted via e-mail if we can not accommodate you.

  2. Sticking to the Schedule!

    1. In most cases, games are to be scheduled according to the above slot schedule.

    2.  The schedule is very flexible. Some games may have shorter slots.  If so, just remember to get in free, you must have at least 12 hours as a GM on your schedule.  Work out any special schedules with the Gaming Coordinator.

    3. GMs will have a five to ten minute leeway to begin their game after the listed start time.

    4. Clean up will commence at 6:00 PM on Sunday.

  3. Convention

    1. It's important to the Convention that all players playing on your game have valid convention badges.  It's up to the GM to check for badges of all players.

  4. GM Requirements:

    1. You must be prepared to run your event prior to arriving. This includes, if applicable, pre-generated characters and necessary materials for those characters. RPG GMs must be prepared to run with 6 players unless previously arranged between the GM and the Gaming Coordinator to run with less or more.

    2. GMs need to know the rules of the games thoroughly in advance. Do Not try to read the rules while teaching the game.

    3. All beginners must be allowed to play. If any player refuses to play with a beginner than the refusing gamer should not be allowed to play.

    4. You will be required to teach the rules of the game to any and all interested gamers. NO gamers can be left out because they do not know the rules. If there are enough players for two separate games, then you may separate the beginning players into one game if so desire.

    5. You must make any house rules that you intend to use clear to all players prior to beginning of the game.

    6. Let all players know in advance the approximate time it takes to play the game.

    7. NO paperwork is required! If you would like to take notes or write down some general comments on what occurred you are more than welcome to do so.

  5. Event Submission:

    a. Any questions or suggestions are welcome at the e-mail addresses listed below.

    b. Submit events to Ron McClung at seawolf@seawolfsden.net.

  6. Stellarcon Online Gaming Registration System

    a. There will be an online system gaming registration system for StellarCon.  GMs will have immediate access to it when it is up and running and you can submit game descriptions there.
