Brief follow-up
of debate
a. Featured
in Carolinian and possibly on CNN.com
2. Fundraising
updates
a. The raffle
letters have been distributed today
b. As of right now: $20 gift card to Friendly Center, $5 gift card
to Panera Bread
c. Request for faculty donations; Dr. Kroll-Smith is donating a
25” TV and that will probably be the grand prize
d. No date has been set for the raffle because we are going to wait
and get all the donations, and then set the date.
3. Movie Nights
a. Tomorrow
night we are showing Fahrenheit 9/11 in Graham 308 at 7pm
b. We invited PAC (Political Awareness Committee) to co-host the
event with us, but they declined because of the left-wing dominated
views
of the movie.
i. They said
if we were also showing a movie called FarenHYPE 9/11, they would’ve
hosted the event with us.
ii. We are going to check on availability and possibly get that
movie and show it on Monday, Nov. 1.
c. Next movie
night: November 11 at 6:00pm, Graham 308
i. Movie
suggestions: Welcome to Durham
ii. Kristel Rogers is now in charge of coordinating movie nights.

a. T-shirts:
the club was denied funding by SGA for our t-shirts, but the general
consensus seems that we still want them. We will assess
funds after the raffle to see if t-shirts are a possibility.
b. Find out if UNICEF has a TIN (Crista)
c. Email to alumni to donate money to club (Stephanie)
d. The club would like to host an outside speaker this semester
if time and money permit. Email faculty for suggestions on speaker.

Hurricane Relief Drive

· Krispy Kreme--We have decided to do, but first we need to raise
funds to purchase the doughnuts with

Half of the proceeds will got to Pangaea, an AIDS foundation--for

· There is no date set for the raffle as of yet because we are
still trying to solicit donations
· So far we have:
