***2008 FALL CONCERT***

It's that time again! Our fall concert is nearly here, join us for our Star Wars themed concert: SPAR WARS: Attack of the Tones!! The Sweet Signatures from Elon will be our wonderful guest performers for the night, and we will be performing covers of songs from artists such as Coldplay, Jason Mraz, Rise Against, Ben Folds, and even a few surprises!! Please come out to support us Friday, November 21, at 8:30PM in the Elliot University Center (EUC) auditorium on UNCG's campus. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults, you can order them at the box office in the EUC or School of Music, or better yet, online by clicking this link. - Ben Folds Acappella Competition!!!

We are happy to announce that we have won the honors of being a part of Ben Folds' new upcoming acappella album featuring college acappella groups covering his songs. We will be re-recording our version of "Not the Same" by Ben Folds for the album, so check back for more details and keep an eye out for the new CD around March 2009!!

- Congratulations To the New Spartones!!!

We would like to welcome the newest members of the Spartone collective, Patrick Darab, Kyle Blair, and Dylan Fowler!! We are very excited about our upcoming year, we've got many gigs lined up already and we are working on more music than ever before, now with 18 members, the most members we've ever had!! So please come out and support us whenever you can because we don't sing just for us! - Voices Only 2008

The UNCG Spartones are one of the 36 groups selected to have a track from their newest CD chosen to be put into this year's installment of Voices Only 2008, a compilation of the best the collegiate acappella world has to offer this year! We are proud to announce the the Introductory track of our latest CD, Robin Hood Overture, has been selected to close the first CD of the 2CD set for Voices Only 2008! - Not the Same Release and Concert

We are extremely excited about the recent release of our latest CD Not the Same, our concert on May 3rd was a great success and fun for all of us. We put a lot of work and time into giving our fantastic recording company, Liquid 5th, something to mold into a wonderful album, and we couldn't be happier with the final product! This is for all of our fans out there and everyone who loves acappella and music in general, thanks for every smile, yell, clap, laugh, fan-made t-shirt, and awkward dance you gave in support of us, we appreciate it all more than anything!

- ICCA Semifinals

Missed it by that much! We recently attended the Semifinal round of the International Competition of Collegiate Acappella, where we finished 1st runner-up. We worked hard and gave a great show, but unfortunately we will not be advancing to the final round in New York. We would like to thank all of you who came out to support us and continue to do so, we appreciate all that you do!
