Profile

Victoria is a lecturer in the Consumer Apparel and Retail Studies Department at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Clothing and Textiles at Virginia Tech in Blackburg, VA in 2004, and her Masters of Science in Apparel Business Analysis at Virginia Tech in 2006. While obtaining her master degree, she worked as a bridal consultant at Chantilly Lace in Blackburg, VA, and following she worked for Soma Intimates in Durham, NC as a manager.

As a graduate student, she received the AATCC Student Award and was a recipient of the Belk Retail Internship Scholarship Award. Research interests include assortment planning practices of small apparel retailers; textile fiber development; and apparel product development. Victoria has taught a variety of undergraduate courses, including textile science, quality analysis, culture and clothing, textile testing, and consumer rights.
