Jason Scott Quinn

MFA Acting                                 

Jason Scott Quinn is a first year MFA Acting student.   Jason’s stage work includes Leave it To Jane, Macbeth, and Our Town (Circle in the Square, NYC), Henry IV parts 1 and 2 (Gorilla Rep., NYC), Twelfth Night (Kraine Theatre, NYC), The Boys Next Door, Scapino, Biloxi Blues, and Fools (Florida Repertory Theatre, Fort Myers), Metamorphoses, School House Rock, and Love’s Labour’s Lost (American Stage, St. Petersburg), The Boys Next Door (Palm Beach Dramaworks, West Palm Beach), and The Jungle Book (Mill Mountain Theatre, Roanoke). He appeared in the independent film The Bros, One Tree Hill, as well as numerous commercials and industrials.  

Jason is a company member of the DSI Comedy Theater in Carrboro where he teaches improv comedy and performs improv in the nationally recognized Mister Diplomat.  Jason is a graduate of the Circle in the Square Theatre School and has received his improv training from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and Armando Diaz.   He has a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of South Florida and an MA in Communication Studies from UNCG.   Jason is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and the Screen Actors’ Guild.   Jason lives with his lovely wife, Emily, who is a modern dancer and his protective dog, Shyla, who needs therapy.
