Randy McMullen
Randy has been a member of the UNCG Department of Theatre faculty since 1991 where he currently serves as design program coordinator. Prior to his current appointment, Randy was on the faculties at the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Colorado in Boulder. His teaching is in the area of stage design, principally set design, and related technologies. He has designed on numerous occasions for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, and Mill Mountain Theatre Company. Guest artist appointments include the American University (Cairo, Egypt), Auburn University, the University of Alabama, the University of Missouri at Columbia, and Wyoming University. In 2002, Randy received the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival award for "Outstanding Accomplishment as a Teaching Artist". He is actively involved in USITT, SETC, and ACTF, has served ACTF Region IV (southeast) as it s regional chair, and has been a member of USA-829 since 1985.
