Joshua Yoder MFA Acting Joshua Yoder is a first year MFA acting student from Hickory, North Carolina. He attended Lenoir-Rhyne College, where he picked up BA degrees in English and Philosophy (and a minor in Theatre Arts). After undergraduate studies, he worked as a journalist for four years, serving first as a crime beat reporter and then as an entertainment writer/editor at the Hickory Daily Record newspaper. He is a founding member of the Man-In-the-Moon Theatre company, which wrote and performed folklore-based theatre for children. Favorite roles include Boy in John Crutchfield’s Ruth (Blue Shift Theatre Ensemble), Al Joad in The Grapes of Wrath (Lenoir-Rhyne College Playmakers) the title role in Hamlet (Foothills Performing Arts). He’s very excited to be part of the program here at UNCG.
