UNCG Theatre and the North Carolina Theatre for Young People are excited to announce the plays selected for the 2009-10 academic year.
UNCG Theatre productions begin at 7 pm for all evening performances (including Fridays and Saturdays). Please note that we will also have additional 10 pm performances of Evil Dead, The Musical on all performance dates except Sunday and Monday. We also perform on Sundays with 2 pm matinees and occasional Saturday matinees (please check individual shows/performance schedules for accurate times).
Please note the different curtain times for the UNCG Opera: 7:30 pm evening performances and 2 pm a Sunday matinee.
Tickets for (non-musical) plays are $15 Adults; $12 Non-UNCG Students, Senior Citizens, and Children(please note that not all titles are appropriate for children); $9 Groups of 10+ and UNCG Alumni; and $7 UNCG Students.
Tickets for musicals (including Evil Dead, the Musical and the spring 2010's opera ) are $18 Adults; $15 Seniors, NON-UNCG Students, or Children; $12 for Groups of 10+ and UNCG Alumni; and $10 for UNCG Students.
Please note that for weekday school matinee performances of the NCTYP production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and/or Wiley and the Hairy Man , ticket prices are $15 Adults; $12 Children, Students, and Senior Citizens; $9 UNCG Alumni; $7 UNCG students; $5 for groups of 10 or more (weekday matinees only).
Tickets are sold through the University Box Office at 336-334-4849 and at http://boxoffice.uncg.edu during the academic year. Sign interpretation may be requested by calling Jody Cauthen at 336-334-4601 or emailing at jtcauthe@Uncg.edu. UNCG Theatre respectfully requests a ten business day advance notice/period to needed interpretation/event date to secure trained, adequate, and affordable interpretation.
