UNCG Theatre and the North Carolina Theatre for Young People are excited to announce the plays selected for the 2009-10 academic year. Season ticket packages will be available August 1, 2009.
UNCG Theatre productions begin at 7 pm on weeknights, and 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. We also perform on Sundays with 2 pm matinees and occasional Saturday matinees at 2 pm.
Please note the different curtain times for the UNCG Opera: 7:30 pm evening performances and 2 pm a Sunday matinee.
Tickets for straight (non-musical) plays are $12 for adults, $10 for students, senior citizens, and children(please note that not all titles are appropriate for children), $8 for groups of 10 or more and UNCG Alumni Association members, and $7 for current UNCG Students.
Tickets for musicals (including Picnic, Evil Dead, the Musical, and spring 2010's opera ) are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, students, or children, $9 for groups of 10 or more and UNCG Alumni Association members, and $7 for UNCG students.
Please note that for weekday school matinee performances of the NCTYP production of Go. Dog, Go!, ticket prices are $12 for adults; $10 for children, students, and senior citizens; $8 for UNCG Alumni; $7 for UNCG students; $5 for groups of 10 or more. Tickets are sold through the University Box Office at 336-334-4849 and at http://boxoffice.uncg.edu during the academic year. On-line season packages will be available by mid-August, 2009.
