Mission
Promoting Teaching Excellence and Student Learning through Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication.
The University Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) strives to promote a creative and stimulating learning environment, enabling UNCG to achieve its Vision for Teaching and Learning. The primary focus of the TLC is the support of faculty in their efforts to enhance the University's instructional programs. The TLC provides instructional development activities, instructional materials, equipment, test and data scanning services, and consultation in instructional development and in the use of instructional technology.
Location
The University Teaching and Learning Center is housed in the McIver Building. Main offices are located on the first floor and the video library is housed in the basement. The video library is most easily accessed from the north entrance doors.

Spaces Available
The Preview Room is equipped with video and 16mm equipment and will accommodate up to fifteen people. Information desk staff will reserve this space.
The McIver Classroom, room 140, is available for teleconferences and viewing of video material by groups of forty or less. Call our office at (336) 334-5080 for reservations. Room 140 is available from 8am until 5pm, Monday through Friday, evenings and weekends by special arrangement.
Carrels equipped with video equipment are located in the library area of the TLC. No reservations are required.
A student laptop collaboration space is available in Media Services.
