Post Tenure Review
Post tenure review is required of all tenured faculty. Building on annual reviews, post tenure review is a cumulative evaluation of faculty in the areas of teaching, research, and service. An additional category, directed professional activity, may be used if the department has approved the category of performance. The cumulative review must take place no less frequently than every five years and is the responsibility of the department chair, although the review must involve peers. The Provost’s Office maintains a schedule of due dates for UNCG faculty members.
