The Deans Council consists of the Deans, Senior Associate Provost, Associate Provosts, and the Director of the Library. The Provost meets with this group in a three-hour session at least once every other week to share information regarding actions and initiatives impacting the Division of Academic Affairs. Topics include those related to academic programs, student life, administrative services (including facilities, budget, and personnel matters), external activities, and legislative actions.
The Chancellor meets with the Deans Council once each semester. During the summer, the Deans Council undertakes a 2.5-day retreat for the purpose of examing strategic issues in greater detail and to establish budgetary and programmatic priorities for the coming year.
The International Programs Center is the UNCG point of contact for all international activities. The IPC recruits and offers programs for international students, support faculty development and exchange, provides funding for faculty and student activities, and manages the study abroad programs.
The University Teaching & Learning Center (UTLC) supports faculty development, course development, and instructional technology applications.
The Office Of Research & Public/Private Sector Partnerships (ORPPSP) supports UNCG research efforts, and community and economic engagement.
