Graphic Design
The Creative Services Division provides graphic design and production services for instructional, research, and administrative projects. Types of services provided include:
- Page layout
- Logo design
- Illustrations
- Design Consultation
- Display design/production
- Design and printing of posters (up to 34” x 56”) for research conferences
- Special projects consultation, design and production
- PowerPoint consultation
Cost
Except for the videotaping of speakers, there is no labor charge to faculty for producing materials to be used in a UNCG scheduled class. For instructional projects, departments must cover costs of color copies, transparency film, and mounting/lamination materials. Labor charges for non-instructional projects average about one-third of the fee charged by commercial vendors. If your department or grant is paying for any item, please bring an authorized, signed interdepartmental invoice (Banfin 33) and grant number when you come to schedule the work. Scheduling
In general, the Creative Services Division asks that you allow two weeks for production of materials. Since work is performed on a first-come-first-served basis, the actual time required will depend on the number of jobs already scheduled.
