Graphic Arts
Creative Services Graphic Arts provides graphic design and production services for instructional and academic support. Types of services provided include:
- Design of graphics for instruction and departmental support
- Pre-publication image acquisition and preparation
- Custom poster presentation design and assembly
- Large format printing of research posters
- Custom inkjet printing in sizes up to 60 inches
Cost
There is no labor charge to faculty for producing materials to be used in a UNCG scheduled class. For instructional projects, departments must cover costs of materials. Labor charges for non-instructional projects average about one-third of the fee charged by commercial vendors. If your department or grant is paying for any item, please bring an authorized, signed interdepartmental invoice (Banfin 33) and grant number when you come to schedule the work. Graduate students will be assisted, as time permits, with a charge for labor and materials.
Scheduling
In general, the Creative Services Division asks that you allow two weeks for production of materials. Since work is performed on a first-come-first-served basis, the actual time required will depend on the number of jobs already scheduled.
