Faculty Multimedia Development Laboratory (Sandbox)

The Faculty Multimedia Development Laboratory provides the opportunity for faculty to develop instructional materials and Web-based resources, experiment with new software and hardware products, and learn through individualized instruction. Mini-workshops are regularly offered and individual consultations are available. A Student Technology Consultant is available most afternoons to assist faculty. You can contact the consultant or make other inquiries about the lab by e-mailing utlc@uncg.edu.

The Faculty Multimedia Development Laboratory currently contains:

  • 2 Computers Running Windows XP
  • 1 Computer Running Mac OS X
  • Laser Printer
  • Video Capture Hardware
  • Flatbed Scanner*
  • Sheet Feed Scanner*
  • Slide Scanner (For Converting Slides To A Digital Format)

*Scanned documents can be converted to numerous formats, including PDF and MS Word.
