Chancellor’s State of the Campus Address

Chancellor Linda Brady will address the UNCG community on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Aycock Auditorium.

New Faculty Survey

Please take a few minutes to complete the New Faculty Survey. This information will be distributed to Chancellor Brady and Provost Perrin to assist them in planning future events. Some information may be listed on the Provost’s web page for campus information.

e-Spartan Email & Banner Training

Learn how to use the e-Spartan email system and how to access a number of useful Faculty Services via the UNCGenie Administrative Services Web Platform. Services include: Get your own Class Rosters, Issue Registration Overrides, Look up Student Data, Get your Advisee List w/Advising Codes, View Advisee Transcripts, View Degree Evaluations for Advisees and more.

Human Resource Services New Faculty Orientation Sessions

Orientation sessions will be held in the Human Resource Services Training Room, located at the Bryan School of Business, Room 113. You have the option of attending one of six sessions:

8/13/09 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Seating for each session is limited, so reservation is required to ensure space. Please call 336-256-0342 or email benefits@uncg.edu indicating which session (date & time) you will be attending.

There will be a walk-in retirement fair (or open house) on Friday the 14th. This will be an opportunity for new faculty to drop in and meet informally with all four campuses representatives from the retirement companies that handle our Optional Retirement Program accounts, (Fidelity, TIAA-CREFF, AIG and Lincoln). This will also be held in the Bryan Building, room 113. Reps will be available from 9:00 - 12:00 & 1:00 - 4:00.
