Chancellor’s State of the Campus Address

Chancellor Linda Brady will address the UNCG community on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., followed by an award ceremony at 10:30 a.m., both in the Aycock Auditorium.

Opening Luncheon

All UNCG Faculty and Staff are invited to the Opening Luncheon scheduled for August 14, 2012 at 11:15 a.m. in the University Dining Hall.

New Faculty Orientation

Wednesday (August 15, 2012) & Thursday (August 16, 2012)

iSpartan Email & UNCGenie Training

Learn how to use the iSpartan email system and how to access a number of useful Faculty Services via the UNCGenie Administrative Services Web Platform. Services include: Get your own Class Rosters, Issue Registration Overrides, Look up Student Data, Get your Advisee List w/Advising Codes, View Advisee Transcripts, View Degree Evaluations for Advisees and more.

Human Resource Services New Faculty Benefits Orientation

Orientation sessions will be held in the Human Resource Services Training Room, located at the Bryan School of Business, Room 113. You have the option of attending one of three sessions:

August 13 - 1:00 - 4:00 pm

August 14 - 8:30 - 11:30 am or 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Seating for each session is limited, so reservation is required to ensure space. Click here to register for the New Faculty Benefit Orientation. You may also call 336-256-0342 or email e_foust@uncg.edu indicating which session (date & time) you will be attending.

Human Resource Services will give a presentation on UNCG benefits programs. Representatives from the retirement companies: Fidelity, Lincoln, Valic, and TIAA-CREF will be present at the orientation to address questions about the Optional Retirement Program. Refreshments will be provided.
