Student Use of Equipment
- Students should contact their instructor to arrange for use of equipment in classrooms.
- If requesting equipment loans from the UTLC, students must obtain permission from their instructors, written on departmental letterhead, or have their instructors send an e-mail, stating their needs. The student assumes all responsibility for the equipment and its timely return. Refer to http://www.uncg.edu/tlc/media/avequip/.
- Laptop computers and data projectors are loaned to instructors only.
- Equipment loans are for a maximum of three days unless special approval is given in advance.
- Student groups wishing to obtain equipment or access to equipment in a classroom or auditorium teaching station must bring written permission on department letterhead from their faculty, staff advisor or the Office of Student Life.
- Training on equipment use must be scheduled through Media Services’ Equipment Loan Unit in advance of pick up.
- There is a $10 charge for teaching station keys that are lost or stolen.
