See our Collaboratory Instructions to learn how to use a collaboratory.
Collaboratory Spaces are physical spaces on campus consisting of a large flat screen television, switch box, cables and custom furniture that allow from 4 to 12 students to work together on coursework, group projects, or a place to sit and watch a movie together. By pushing a button on the switch box, the TV screen displays what is being shown on an individual student’s laptop computer. Collaboratories are found all over campus, in the Library, University Teaching & Learning Center, Student Center, most classroom buildings and a few dorms.
Go to the University Teaching & Learning Center web site and look for “Collaboratory Reservation System”, Click Here or the University Library web site and follow the bread crumbs:
The collaboratories can be reserved in ˝ hour and 1 hour increments. If they are not reserved, they may be used on a first-come, first served basis. Groups have priority over individuals in this circumstance. However, we highly recommend that you take the time to reserve the space, especially if needing it for a group meeting.
