Junior goalkeeper Chad Janda was named SoCon Player of the Week after last-second saves in two victories. An Academic All-Conference honoree, he recorded 37 saves last year.

Sophomore Erica Creed was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team. Her first semester, she had a 3.8 GPA. She had a top five finish at the SoCon Championship.

Director of Athletics Nelson Bobb was named the Div. I Southeast Region Athletic Director of the Year, at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Convention.

Senior Alejandra Guerra is the first Spartan to make the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) pre-season Top 125 rankings. Ranked 114th in the nation, she knocked off the 39th ranked player in September.
