MAKING A SPLASH. September's FallFest was fantastic. The young kids had fun with arts and games and delightfully sticky cotton candy. The young-at-heart ranging from alumni and professors to students and friends of the university enjoyed an afternoon of reconnecting and refreshment. The parade may have been the best yet. Then the rains came, late in the day. Just a few drops as the chancellor crowned the new homecoming king and queen. More as the featured party band played. And still more as the Homecoming game started. Some hearty souls braved the elements and stayed the entire match to cheer on the Spartans. Brown prevailed 3-0, but Spartan pride ruled the day.
