The Warren Ashby Residential College celebrated a landmark birthday this year — its 40th. Created at a time when residential colleges were few and far between, UNCG's “grand experiment” thrived. And the experiment continues. Living and learning communities are now an integral part the UNCG Strategic Housing Plan 2020, with aspirations to offer first-year learning communities for all freshmen.
