The lowdown on updates

Where's Waldo? And Wanda? And those other classmates you haven't seen in years? The UNCG Alumni Association is embarking on an endeavor to help our graduates connect with UNCG and with one another.

You'll soon be getting a postcard helping us to ensure everyone's information is up-to-date.

The Alumni Association has asked Harris Connect to send these postcard mailers to verify information such as addresses, phone numbers and career and family data. You'll see a phone number to call to confirm the information and to provide any updates or corrections. This verified information will be compiled in an alumni directory book that alumni may purchase.

The updated information also will be used in the upcoming online community project. This future project will make reconnecting with fellow alumni even easier than before. Before the project goes online, alumni will have the opportunity to limit access to some of their data.

“Harris is a recognized partner of the UNCG Alumni Association,” said Becci Menghini, alumni relations director. She encourages every alumnus to verify their contact information for inclusion in the book. With a directory that is up-to-date, you'll have an easier time with staying in touch.
