Building honor

Since its opening in 2003, the new landmark on the corner of North Drive and McIver Street simply has been called the “Science Building.” But no longer. Now the state-of-the-art facility has a new name — the Patricia A. Sullivan Science Building. Read more about the ceremony honoring the chancellor.

Alumna named dean

You can soon remove interim from Dr. Celia Hooper's title. The UNCG alumna and professor of communication sciences and disorders has been named dean of the School of Health and Human Performance effective July 1. Read more about Hooper's new role.

Service rewarded

Two Woman's College alumnae have joined a distinguished group. Dr. Sally Beaver Buckner '53 of Cary and Sue Sigmon Williams '58 of Atlanta are the 2008 Alumni Distinguished Service Award winners. Read more about Sally Buckner and Sue Williams.
