A good time you can count on
How much fun will you have at FallFest? Let's count the ways.
Members of the Blue Crew get on their feet to cheer on the Spartans at last year's homecoming game.
- FallFest — UNCG's homecoming extravaganza — is a weeklong celebration that attracts more than 8,000 people.
- You'll move and groove with 3 great bands — Walrus, Sleeping Booty and Big Bang Boom.
- 1,700 sno-cones will help you chill out.
- 16 different sports will showcase 230 student-athletes with mad talent and awesome GPAs.
- 2,500 cool and creative face paintings will keep kids happy.
- And, at the end of day, 1,488 loudly cheering Blue Crew members will rally our men's soccer team as they take on Brown University.
In addition to all the fun family-friendly activities, crowd-rocking bands and the get-you-on-your-feet-cheering soccer game, FallFest also offers a few new things this year. Come and meet the university's new chancellor, Dr. Linda P. Brady. Join the party in our brand new outdoor gathering place, Kaplan Commons. Meet up with fellow alumni at school and department reunions.
So mark your calendar for Sept. 22-28. From concerts and festivals to sporting events and the Parade of Chariots, FallFest showcases the best of UNCG, and we want you to be a part of it.
