Old friends, good times

Reunion kicked off with a little learning and ended with a big heart. Attendees of the May 2-3 Reunion had an opportunity to participate in learning sessions — a first this year — as well as see a demonstration of the upcoming online community. But the biggest draw, as always, was seeing old friends and catching up on each others' lives. Read more about Reunion events.

Living legacy

There's a nice symmetry to it. A perfect round number. One hundred years. Four alumnae. One family. This Friday, when Stephanie Turner walks across the stage to receive her diploma she will be the fourth woman in her family to graduate from UNCG. The end of the story might be the same, but the journey — ah — that's a story worth telling. Jeff Colbert '84, '86 MPA, president-elect of the UNCG Alumni Association Board of Directors, introduced himself during the Grand Reunion Luncheon with a taste of his story.
