Planning directions

Alumni, let your voices be heard. The university wants your input on the UNCG Plan.

In late September 2008, Chancellor Linda P. Brady appointed members to the Strategic Planning Committee. Drawing on a document the Planning Preparation Committee developed during Summer 2008, A Bridge between UNCG Today and UNCG Tomorrow (July 31, 2008), and with guidance from Provost David H. Perrin, this committee, which includes alumni, has begun to develop the UNCG Plan 2009-2014.

Rebecca Adams, Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, will present a draft of the plan to the Alumni Board at their meeting on Feb. 21.

Other alumni will have opportunities to provide feedback on two successive drafts of the plan via the uncgtomorrow.uncg.edu web site.

The first draft of the plan is already posted on the web site, and the opportunity for web-based feedback will continue through Feb. 22. A revised draft of the plan will be posted for feedback between March 4 and March 13. The draft of the plan to be endorsed by campus leadership groups (including the Alumni Board) will be posted on April 1 for information purposes.
