House guests

If you love the Alumni House or have been looking for a way to serve the university, the Office of Alumni Relations can use your help.

The office is seeking volunteer docents to act as official hosts and greeters for all visitors to the Alumni House, Monday through Friday.

In addition to greeting students, community members, faculty, staff and other alumni, docents will have the opportunity to lead guests on Alumni House tours. And, as time allows, volunteers may assist the office in a variety of interesting projects.

Those who volunteer should be alumni who enjoy people of all ages and who have the time to offer four hours of service once a week, once every two weeks or once a month.

The Office of Alumni Relations will provide orientation and training and ensure you have a free parking space for your scheduled volunteer hours. They will be flexible and willing to work with your schedule.

Another plus — it's a chance to return to your alma mater and become a part of daily life at UNCG in one of the most beautiful buildings in the UNC system.
