Mark your calendar the annual UNCG Business Summit returns Nov. 16.
This yearly event brings Triad corporate executives, business owners and nonprofit leaders to campus to discuss the relationship between business and higher education.
This year the featured speaker will be Bob Ingram, vice chairman of GlaxoSmithKline.
Previous keynote speakers have included Robert McDowell, VP, Microsoft; Dave Bronczek, CEO, FedEx Express; and Bill Amelio, CEO, Lenovo.
Attendees also hear about UNCG's active engagement with the business community and the community in general in advancing the region's economic development and quality of life.
Approximately 250 people are expected to attend. The summit will run from 8 a.m. to noon in Cone Ballroom of Elliott University Center.
