Maybe you had an internship when you were a student. Now you can return the favor.
The African American Studies program is seeking opportunities for its students to gain practical experience at sites serving populations of people of African descent. Students must complete eight to 15 hours per week at the site. As a result, they will receive course credit.
Students are primarily interested in civil rights, nonprofit work and law.
Even if you don't have any internships to offer, the program is also seeking alumni especially those involved in law who will allow students to shadow them.
Email afs@uncg.edu with a description of the job, name and number of contact and the address.
